Although neither of the dogs are extremely thrilled with 
John, Bailee and Kallie have very differing opinions about him. Bailee loves to be close during or soon after a meal as she can lick his hands and face and clean him all up. Kallie....well, she takes a more hands off approach; sh
e would be perfectly happy if he would sleep all day. Kallie has learned that once John is down for the night, she gets Mom and Dad all to herself. As soon as I come down from the nursery, she makes her way to both of us and gets her nightly love.
No matter what they think of him - he LOVES them! Anytime he is starting to get cranky, just call a dog over and - BAM - instant smile. A sneeze or a shake gets a full out laugh from him, it is pretty funny to watch.
We can not wait to see them all together as he gets older and can start playing with them. Probably will not be too much fun for the dogs until he learns to control his hands a bit better and stops grabbing and pulling anything he can get ahold of as they walk by.

Oh, isn't it the cutest thing to watch? I am so glad Kaitlin has Bud to play with. You're so right, if Kaitlin is crying an easy way to get her to stop is to take her to Bud and she immediately lights up. Such a blessing! Just wait til John has finger foods - Bailee will LOVE him then! We now have to put Bud up when we feed her b/c she would be perfectly content to sit and feed him all her food and giggle the whole time.
